Job Summary

A software developer is in need of a Telecommute Cloud Engineering Director.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Setting the cloud adoption strategy and helping teams adopt it
  • Leading the management of our team’s cloud infrastructure
  • Helping develop an application platform to run services in cloud environments

Qualifications for this position include:

  • 7+ years working with at least one public cloud provider
  • Broad technical experience and up-to-date industry knowledge around cloud management
  • 5+ years of experience with automation provisioning scripting (i.e. Terraform)
  • Expertise in scalable architectures that work from 0 to multiple millions of users
  • Expertise in security automation and security policies (i.e. AWS Software Control Policies)
  • Expertise in security monitoring of cloud environments and implementation of event management solutions
