Job Summary
A healthcare provider has a current position open for a Telecommute Coding Support Technician.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Supporting the development of processes and procedures for the coders, charge entry staff, providers and practice staff
- Developing and maintaining knowledge of Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCC) coding
- Maintaining compliance with federal, state and local regulations, HIPAA and the Corporate Responsibility
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Experience in coding and/or charge entry duties preferred
- AAPC or AHIMA Coding Certification (i.e. CPC-A, CPC, CCS-P) required at time of hire
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint required
- EPIC experience preferred
