Job Summary
A software development company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Commercial Attorney.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Creating and maintaining internal processes in collaboration with other departments (e.g. product or SaaS Operations) and supporting legal operations
- Drafting and negotiating highly complex domestic and international subscription-based software arrangements, developing strong relationships with colleagues
- Negotiating software commercial contracts, including complex SaaS contract for mission-critical core systems as well as Professional Services Agreements and other related transactions
Qualifications for this position include:
- Member of a state bar in good standing
- 7 + years of experience with commercial and technology transactions, with a background in drafting and negotiating agreements independently
- Specific experience with SaaS, cloud computing and enterprise software
- Demonstrated excellence in data privacy and security matters
- Ability to develop a close understanding of the company’s products, services and business models
- Ability to prepare and maintain form agreements
