Job Summary

A government organization is in need of a Telecommute Communications Consultant.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing new and innovative content for social media and website and relevant newsletters
  • Monitoring news and social media coverage
  • Developing and refining through partner consultation a digital media strategy

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and experience in social media outreach
  • Good knowledge of media landscape
  • Strong knowledge of gender and human rights issues
  • Experience in working on rights-based approaches
  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in communications, public relations, journalism or relevant field is required
  • Three-five years of professional work experience at national or international level
  • Social-media savvy with HTML or web content management required
