Job Summary

An information technology solutions company has a current position open for a Telecommute Configuration Management Specialist in Chantilly Area.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Maintaining allocated, functional and physical baseline control
• Establishing and/or maintaining a system to record modifications
• Assisting with the review of engineering change requests

Required Skills:

• This is primarily a remote position, it will require occasional travel to Ft. Belvoir, VA for meetings, would prefer commutable distance
• Four (4) years of relevant experience with providing support to the Configuration Control Steering Group (CCSG) and Enterprise Configuration Control Board (ECCB)
• Four (4) years of relevant experience with documenting and disseminating meeting minutes and action items of CCWGs
• Four (4) years of relevant experience with providing Enterprise Configuration Management support for Commercial-off-the-shelve COTS) software technologies using industry best practices
• Four (4) years of relevant experience with reviewing the existing Configuration Control Working Group Structure and provide recommendations as to which should be eliminated, which should remain, and any new Configuration Control Working Groups (CCWG) which should be created
• Configuration Management analysis and/or reports
