Job Summary

A nonprofit organization has an open position for a Telecommute Content Writer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Writing creative, custom and preferably SEO optimized blog posts each month
  • Designing and writing copy for branding, product and marketing materials and initiatives
  • Using excellent researching, writing, and editing skills to produce engaging content which clearly explains product functionality

Position Requirements Include:

  • Basic SEO knowledge
  • Demonstrated, strong long-form and short-form marketing writing skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or Journalism or equivalent experience
  • Ability to articulate clear, concise and compelling creative ideas, strategies and thought processes
  • Assertive, creative team player with strong organizational skills and sense of urgency
  • Experience in, or proven knowledge of, social media marketing and content creation
