Job Summary
An employee development resource company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Corporate Counsel.
Must be able to:
- Advise Leadership, Business Development, and Operations teams
- Provide input on legal and compliance risks (including proposing solutions to mitigate risk)
- Obtain permission from clients and partners to use their name, logo, and identifying information in materials
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- J.D. degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in the State of New York within 3 months of starting in the role
- A member in good standing of the New York Bar Association in any U.S. state
- Negotiation skills (with an emphasis on finding elegant and creative win-win solutions)
- Ability to translate legal jargon to make the information accessible to a non-legal audience
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
