Job Summary

A provider of technology-enabled coding services is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Critical Access Facility Coding Specialist.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Coding all diseases, operations and procedures on outpatients
• Abstracting all codes paying particular attention to accuracy
• Discussing any unclear information needing clarification with supervisor and/or data quality specialist

Skills and Requirements Include:

• Principals of ICD-10 Inpatient/Outpatient Coding
• 3 years experience coding IP, OP, LTC in a Critical Access Hospital
• RHIT, RHIA, CCS, or COC
• Ability to maintain productivity levels
• Ability to maintain accuracy of diagnosis code assignment
• Ability to maintain reports and their integrity by insuring that all data is entered and recorded as directed by supervisor and director
