About the Role:
We’re passionate about our customers (who we affectionately refer to as ‘Squatch Nation’), and we're looking for someone who is passionate about helping them out as well.  You will be our go-to person for dealing with our customers, and often times the face of our company to them.  Your primary responsibility will be to answer all outside email requests, troubleshoot any customer issues, and engage with our community on social media.

About You:
In order to excel at this position, you need to possess the following traits
•       Written Communication – You can communicate clearly and personably in written form via email and social media.  Comfortable communicating in an open forum like social media.
•       Support Mindset – You will spend the majority of your time dealing with people and their problems.  If this drains you at all, it will not be a good fit.  You must be comfortable dealing with the occasional upset customer and must handle it in a proactive way, never putting the blame on the customer.  Cool under pressure.
•       Problem Solver – You must have the ability to diagnose a problem or customer issue and use the tools available to you in order to solve the problem for them.  You should be able to follow defined processes but also understand how things work in order to find solutions.
•       Self-starter – You are working remote on your own schedule.  You must be able to manage this in a way to still accomplish your work goals.
•       Tech Literate – You are comfortable working with social media platforms, email, basic office applications, and Google docs.

Primary Duties:
•       Answering emails that come to our customer support inbox.  Troubleshooting problems with customer orders, shipments, and accounts.  Answering general product questions.  Routing other requests to the proper person.
•       Engage with our community on facebook and other social media channels by responding to wall posts and comments, liking activity, etc.
•       Assist with various operational tasks such as invoicing retail customers, placing orders for them.
•       Answer phone requests (infrequent) when on duty.

Other Details:
•       Location flexible, work from wherever you want
•       Hours flexible but must be able to contribute a few hours M-F and respond to emails within 24 hours
•       15-20 hours per week, could expand to full-time during the holiday season or as our business grows
•       Looking to hire someone long term, at least 6 months and preferably longer
•       This position will be 1099 contract status
