Job Summary
A healthcare company that provides non-profit health plan services has a current position open for a Telecommute Customer Service Representative.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Performing in an 100% inbound customer service environment with no cold calling or prospecting
- Handling approximately 50 calls per day depending on complexity
- Acquiring and retaining knowledge of department processes and resource utilization
Qualifications Include:
- High School diploma, or equivalent
- 2 years of related working experience, preferably in a healthcare related setting
- Insurance and billing experience preferred
- Medical terminology and procedural/diagnostic coding (CPT, ICD) knowledge preferred
- Ability to problem solve and use critical thinking for timely and thorough issue resolution
- Computer proficiency including the ability to work on dual monitors, use various applications/ systems/software, and strong typing skills
