Job Summary
An IT company is in need of a Telecommute Data Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Analyze terabytes of event and entity data to surface data
- Restructure data warehouse and data lake
- Track and use dimension history in analytics pipelines
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Experience shipping high quality code to production as part of a team
- Strong foundation in computer science, storage and retrieval of large data sets and Map/Reduce
- Ability to work with large, complex data schemas
- Have strong knowledge of SQL and are familiar with data warehousing technologies
- Proficient in writing, deploying, and debugging data pipelines using Apache Spark
- Ability to write clean, scalable code and have experience with two or more programming languages
