Job Summary

A health IT and DevSecOps support provider needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Data Scientist in Herndon.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Developing, documenting and refining mathematical algorithms to measure risk
  • Extending conceptual models with business rules to develop logical data models
  • Providing guidance and support in the development of information value chain analysis

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or related field
  • At least 8-10 years related experience in data analytics performing increasingly complex data analysis
  • Proficiency querying data sources including MSSQL
  • Experience working with unstructured, structured data including CSV, XML, MSSQL, Oracle
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a government clearance
  • Experience working with Python, HTML, JavaScript, Django as API for Data Science website development
