Job Summary

A healthcare organization is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Denials Management Coding Specialist in Altamonte Springs.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Investigating and resolving coding related denials from payers
  • Reviewing and correcting coding for rebilling as needed
  • Evaluating coding denials to determine root causes

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • 25% travel
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years recent acute care coding experience
  • Experience with Inpatient, ED, ancillary, observation, outpatient and surgery coding
  • Current RHIA, RHIT, or CCS certification or credential
  • Experience with HCPCS codes and resolution of OCE edits, SSI edits and CCI edits
