Job Summary

An addiction prevention non-profit organization has a current position open for a Telecommute Development Director.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Recruiting, coaching, establishing and maintaining relationships with individuals and organizations
  • Building comprehensive fundraising programs in local markets, including peer to peer, event
  • Maintaining a portfolio of donor prospects, with a focus on unrestricted gifts and event sponsorships

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Travel will be required several times a year to visit markets in your portfolio
  • An unparalleled commitment to raising awareness for drug and alcohol addiction in America
  • Three or more years of professional experience in empowering individuals through fundraising
  • Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to present the mission
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting individuals to support an organization
