An addiction prevention non-profit organization has a current position open for a Telecommute Development Director.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Recruiting, coaching, establishing and maintaining relationships with individuals and organizations
- Building comprehensive fundraising programs in local markets, including peer to peer, event
- Maintaining a portfolio of donor prospects, with a focus on unrestricted gifts and event sponsorships
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Travel will be required several times a year to visit markets in your portfolio
- An unparalleled commitment to raising awareness for drug and alcohol addiction in America
- Three or more years of professional experience in empowering individuals through fundraising
- Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to present the mission
- Demonstrated experience recruiting individuals to support an organization
- All other requirements necessary for this position
