Job Summary

A leadership development organization needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Development Director.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Managing a portfolio of candidate donors, building deep relationships, providing timely and individually tailored updates
  • Preparing compelling and inspiring grant proposals and reports for national and regional supporters
  • Researching, reporting and analysis projects to support fundraising efforts as needed

Required Skills:

  • Travel Requirements: 15-25%
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 or more years of professional work experience, with preference given for experience specifically in the areas of annual giving
  • 2 or more years of direct experience in fundraising or development, including writing grants reports and proposals
  • 1 or more years of experience in a significant role planning and executing fundraising events
  • All other requirements necessary for this position
