Job Summary

A non profit organization needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Development Director in the Minneapolis Area.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Recording donor activity and interactions with donors in our online database
  • Being responsible for soliciting gifts of $1,000 and greater to donors
  • Managing relationships with approximately 75 donors

Position Requirements Include:

  • Must be willing to travel
  • Five to seven years successful experience in major or planned gift fundraising, preferably in environmentalissues
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Able to understand the needs and interests of leadership and major gift donors
  • Proven track record in developing and executing cultivation and solicitation strategies
  • Good computer skills and competency in Microsoft Office, Database entry, Acrobat
