Job Summary
A healthcare product manufacturer has an open position for a Telecommute Distribution and Logistics Director.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Assisting in designing, implementing and managing an orchestrated logistical program
- Working with vendors and internal cross functional partners to develop and implement resource tools
- Pro-actively assessing continuous improvement of the overall processes
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Ability to travel, sometimes with little notice
- Exceptional knowledge of time sensitive, sometimes lifesaving distribution programs
- Experience with launch teams and preparations for rare and orphan drug product launches
- 5 to 10 years of experience as mentioned above and in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
- In depth knowledge of specialty product distribution including Good Practices (GxP
- Previous leadership experience
