Job Summary
An educational company has an open position for a Telecommute Elementary Teacher.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Preparing students for high stakes standardized tests
- Taking ownership for students' academic progress and attendance
- Submiting grades and required student work ensuring student academic honesty and integrity
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to travel as required (on average once per month and/or approximately 10% of the time)
- Bachelor's degree
- Meet requirements for Highly Qualified Teacher in subject area under No Child Left Behind
- 6 months of student teaching experience
- Pedagogical knowledge of content being taught and ability to apply critical thinking
- Appropriate state teaching certification
