Job Summary
An educational company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute English Learner and Special Education Specialist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Provide instructional support to special population teachers in virtual public schools around the country
- Utilize Excel to produce and manipulate data reports using formulas and pivot tables to create data summaries for internal audiences
- Analyze data for efficacy of instruction and compliance
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s Degree required in Education or related field
- TESOL/EL teacher or special education certification; dual certification or endorsement in special education ELs highly desirable
- Service oriented, customer centered approach to work
- Ability to plan, design, and deliver professional development
- Deep understanding of the SIOP Model: Applicant will have been trained and have used the SIOP
- Analytical skills including ability to analyze data from Excel exports and provide data to stakeholders
