Job Summary

A software engineering company has an open position for a Telecommute Enterprise Storage Engineering Manager.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Coordinate tasks of remote employees across multiple timezones
  • Cooperate with product and project managers to align product plans
  • Perform HR related tasks such as hiring, training, competency reviews, etc

Position Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Five years of experience in software development and/or testing
  • Strong background in enterprise storage technologies (preferably Ceph), Linux, and open source
  • Experience working with remote and/or virtual teams
  • Ability to adapt management style to multicultural environment strong proficiency in English
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
