Job Summary

A nonprofit organization is seeking a Telecommute Equine Regional Support Pilot Coordinator in Dallas.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the interactions between clients needing safety net support and our veterinary partner
  • Provide compassionate client service and assistance to horse owners to help assure relinquishment is non-judgmental
  • Coordinate the transport of relinquished horses to our intake partner

Required Skills:

  • Must provide a valid driver's license upon hire and pass a motor vehicle history check demonstrating a safe driving history
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3-5+ years' experience in community services, customer service, community organizing, advocacy or related field
  • 5+ experience handling equines
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., carry up to 25 lbs
  • bend, crawl, reach overhead, kneel, repetitively use hands and grasp objects, push and pull equipment, and stand for long periods
  • Computer literacy with particular proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
