Job Summary

A nonprofit organization is seeking a Telecommute Executive Director in Bethesda.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Overseeing the administration of the organization's programs, events and services
  • Identifying, assessing, and informing the Board of Directors of internal and external issues that affect the organization
  • Developing a vision and plan which incorporates goals and objectives that work towards the strategic direction

Required Skills:

  • Experience in motivating broad base of volunteer leaders
  • Five or more years senior/executive level nonprofit management experience
  • A bachelor's degree
  • Strong mentoring, coaching experience to a team with diverse levels of expertise
  • Strong organizational skills including planning and project management
