Job Summary

A staffing agency has an open position for a Telecommute Field Engineer in Pontiac.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Installing, configuring, troubleshooting and testing proprietary applications
  • Resolving customer reported issues and inquiries
  • Maintaining records of daily communications

Qualifications Include:

  • Local travel to customers' sites
  • Bachelor's degree is computer science, information technology or related field
  • Hands-on customer face-to-face technical service experience
  • Hands-on Windows OS issue root-cause experience
  • Hands-on Linux OS issue root-cause experience
  • Hands-on Database experience (Familiar with SQL as minimum)
