Job Summary
A higher education university is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Finance Statement Accountant II.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Balancing and reconciling accounts to the general ledger
- Preparing of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
- Maintaining accurate and up to date accounting documents and records
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of related experience, or an advanced degree without experience
- 2 years knowledge of general accounting principles, payroll processes, and accounting systems
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is preferred
- Ability to act and operate independently with minimal direction from manager is preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting theory, practices and procedures is ideal
