Job Summary
A telecommunications company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Financial Services Finance Director.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Supervise the day-to-day responsibilities of the Revenue Accounting team, which includes GL accounting
- Establish and maintain cross-functional relationships with Legal, Sales Operations, Finance, Service and Support, and Tax teams
- Analyze sales contracts to ensure revenue is recorded in accordance with ASC 606
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP including ASC 606 and technical accounting research capabilities
- Prior experience analyzing & implementing revenue accounting standards across a global organization
- A successful track record in getting to the right accounting position
- Very strong communication and influencing skills & a demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple functional groups
