Job Summary
A testing and certification company is filling a position for a Telecommute Food Safety Audits and Certification Technical Manager.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Participating in the development of new FSMA services
- Implementing procedures to comply with the requirements of the Food Safety Modernization Act
- Developing and updating audit checklists and technical documentation
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Flexibility to travel up to 30% of time
- 5-10 years’ experience in the food sector
- Experience auditing in one of the food safety certification schemes (BRC, IFS, FSSC, SQF, etc.)
- Degree in Food Science, or related discipline
- Knowledge of FSMA Preventive Controls
- Proficient in Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, and Outlook)
