Job Summary
A financial technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Global Financial Technology Compliance Operations Director.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Manage and deploy third party outsourcing relationships
- Implement and scale consumer protection adherence programs
- Develop trade surveillance and monitoring programs and hire a team to support these efforts
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 7-10 years of prior experience in financial institutions
- Subject matter expertise in anti-money laundering/counter terrorist financing, sanctions, trade surveillance, and consumer protection regulations
- Organizational design, strategic hiring, and management of large teams (50+)
- Experience leading operations/FIU/investigations team in a high growth environment
- Ability to create support and buy-in across a wide range of stakeholders
- Familiarity with outsourcing providers and arrangements
