Job Summary

A financial technology company is filling a position for a Telecommute Global Supply Chain Network Engineering Manager in San Francisco.

Must be able to:

• Partner closely with business operations, engineers, and data scientists to define your team’s vision and roadmap by thoroughly understanding your customers’ needs
• Prioritize multiple streams of work from disparate customers
• Build a world-class team by hiring exceptional talent, coaching and developing engineers, and cultivating pragmatic engineering decision-making

Required Skills:

• Ability to lead with a people-first approach with ability to lead a conversation rather than dictate it
• 1+ years experience in leading teams of engineers, in both a technical and people management capacity
• Ability to build strong relationships with counterparts, both internally and externally, including business operations, risk operations and customer support
• Ability to excel at building world class engineering teams that are highly-functional, collaborative and inclusive
• Familiarity with some of our technologies: Java, Kotlin, Docker, Kubernetes, Jaeger, Prometheus, SignalFx, JUnit, Hibernate, Guice, and Arrow
• Ability to foster ownership, inclusiveness, accountability, pragmatism, and urgency in the team
