Job Summary
A travel company has an open position for a Telecommute Global Travel Consultant.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Leveraging omnichannel methods to book travel plans for a variety of clientele in accordance with their travel policy
- Reviewing all travel arrangements with the client and take a consultative approach in offering available alternatives
- Utilizing industry-leading reservation and ticketing technologies to optimize travel costs and timing
Qualifications for this position include:
- Three plus years experience as a professional corporate travel consultant
- Aptitude to learn and adapt to new and ever-changing industry products and technology
- Familiarity with online booking tools such as Concur, GetThere or Deem, plus proficiency in any GDS system
- Strong ability to effectively utilize omnichannel technologies
- Effective organizational and time management skills, with a focus on attention to detail
