Job Summary

An education provider is seeking a Telecommute Grades K through 5 Special Education Teacher.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Leading students through successful course completion
• Promoting creativity and excitement in the virtual learning environment
• Creating strategies to engage and nurture student learning and student relationships

Qualifications Include:

• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time within and between assigned geographic areas to support students; attend regularly scheduled meetings and participate in school activities, open houses and orientations
• Bachelor's degree
• Three (3) years of experience teaching middle school
• Meets state’s No Child Left Behind’s (NCLB) Highly Qualified Teacher requirements
• Certificates and Licenses: Appropriate state certification for grades 6-8 and highly qualified teacher status in area of instruction
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook as well as Internet research methods and report writing techniques
