Job Summary

A nonprofit organization has an open position for a Telecommute Grants and Fundraising Coordinator.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Maintain databases and systems for recording and tracking grant proposals
  • Find and complete applications for funding
  • Develop, prepare, write and submit grants, proposals, applications, and reporting

Qualifications Include:

  • Knowledge of federal, state and/or community funding sources and mechanisms
  • Knowledge of grant funding policies and procedures and applicable local, state, federal and university regulations
  • Minimum of 2 years of grant writing experience, preferably for nonprofits
  • Knowledge of current developments/trends in the area of expertise
  • Experience with grant proposals and reports with a focus on international development projects
  • Proven track record of generating donations and funds from a number of sources
