Job Summary

A professional services company is seeking a Telecommute Hadoop Administrator and Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain the Hortonworks Hadoop Data Platform
  • Perform tasks in adherence with the HFPP-TTP Operations and Maintenance Manual
  • Configure, operate, maintain, report on, and achieve optimal utilization of the Hadoop Data Platform

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
  • 9+ years of related experience
  • Understanding of how data is stored in HIVE
  • Ability to provide detailed recommendations to data analysts
