Job Summary

A non-profit health insurance company is in need of a Telecommute Hadoop Developer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Writing code for intermediate level system designs
  • Creating for Hadoop Echo Systems, using Spark, Hive Processes, and Python
  • Writing code for enhancing existing programs or developing new programs

Qualifications for this position include:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years related work experience in IT development/programming/coding professional work experience
  • Experience with Hadoop echo systems, with knowledge of Spark, Hive process and Python.
  • Knowledge of ETL Data Ingestion process using pyspark, SSIS
  • Knowledge in CI/CD using tools like Jenkins, OpenShift and Git, Kubernetes
  • Experience in implementing ETL process, experience using Control-M scheduling software
