Job Summary

A health insurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Health Program Representative I.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Gather and record appropriate member information in accordance with policies and procedures via telephone
• Record call details and utilize call scripts as needed based on client requirements
• Initiate referrals and manage consults from clinicians for participants registered in Care Management

Qualifications Include:

• HS diploma or the equivalent
• 6 months experience in a tele sales or customer service
• Ability to contact physician offices to obtain demographic information or related data as needed
• Ability to gather information from hospitals, health plans, physicians, patients, vendors, and other referral sources
• Ability to influence customers/members
