Job Summary

A healthcare staffing firm has a current position open for a Telecommute Healthcare Case Manager.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Assessing the member’s current health status, resource utilization, past and present treatment plan and services
• Coordinating services between Primary Care Physician (PCP), specialists, medical providers, and non-medical staff
• Providing patient and provider education

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing
• Current state’s RN license
• Knowledge of utilization management principles and healthcare managed care
• 2+ years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting and 1+ years of case management experience in a managed care setting
• Experience with medical decision support tools (i.e. Interqual, NCCN) and government sponsored managed care programs
• All other requirements necessary for this position
