Job Summary
A managed healthcare and insurance company has an open position for a Telecommute Healthcare Coding Manager.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Assisting in the development and revision of operational policies and procedures
- Scheduling and completing weekly check in meetings with Direct Reports
- Mentoring the coders in building effective relationships with the providers they support
Qualifications for this position include:
- Undergraduate degree or higher or significant equivalent work experience
- Coding Certification from AACP or AHIMA professional coding association
- 5+ years coding experience with ICD diagnosis codes
- 3+ years of experience with Risk Adjustment and HCC Model coding/Auditing
- 2+ years management/supervisor/mentor experience
- Proficient computer skills including applicable skills with MS Office Applications
