Job Summary
A healthcare consulting company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Healthcare Consulting Coding I Specialist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Abstract required data per facility specifications
- Maintain established productivity requirements, key performance indicators established for 3M 360 CAC for CRS & Direct Code
- Attend required system, hospital and departmental meetings and educational sessions
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Ensemble Required License / Certification (Ex: CRCR) One Certification per field
- RHIA, RHIT or CCA
- Ability to abstract required data per facility specifications
- Ability to perform "medical necessity checks" for Medicare and other payers as required per payment guidelines
- Ability to stay abreast of current requirements of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services
- Ability to follow all established policies and procedures to include abiding by paid time off, (PTO) requirements
