Job Summary
A provider of government program support is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Healthcare Fraud Investigator in Alexandria.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Conducting investigations that involve fraud, waste, or abuse within the healthcare insurance marketplace
- Completing written referrals to law enforcement and takes steps to initiate recoupment of overpaid monies
- Sharing information on current fraud investigations with law enforcement, and other applicable stakeholders
Qualifications for this position include:
- Participates in onsite audits in conjunction with investigation development
- Bachelors Degree (e.g., criminal justice, statistics, data analysis, etc.)
- 1+ years of experience in program integrity investigation/detection or a related field
- Demonstrates expertise in reviewing, analyzing/developing information, and making appropriate decisions
- Excellent oral, written and verbal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
