Job Summary
A health insurance company is filling a position for a Telecommute Healthcare Group Services Application Architect.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Defining the current application architecture and identifying issues within it
- Refining and/or redesigning application architecture to meet the organization’s changing business requirements
- Ensuring that the designs meets the business service level agreements for availability and performance
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Travel 5% of the time
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science engineering or an equivalent engineering degree
- At least 6+ years of work experience
- Progressive experience as an architect or technical lead and as a senior software developer in large IT projects
- Proven ability to create innovative solutions to solve complex business requirements
- Experience with Architect and application development of frameworks (.net, MVC, java)
- Experience with SOA design, Web services, APIs and implementation
- Experience with designing, developing and testing software applications and back-end databases
