Job Summary

A managed healthcare and insurance company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Healthcare Support Team Supervisor.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Monitor the daily operations activity of the department and ensure accurate and timely response to patient and branch/clinic issues
  • Helps Solve billing and payment issues and associated system problems related to billing errors or audits
  • Communicates with physicians, clinic/branch staff and other departments to deliver relevant billing and collections information

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Bachelor’s degree or
  • At least 7 years in healthcare industry with experience in medical billing and health insurance
  • Experience working with different practice management and medical billing software
  • Expertise in managing charge entry, cash posting, A/R management, and medical coding
  • Experience with Medicare and other regulations and credentialing requirements
  • Knowledge of legal, regulatory, and policy compliance issues related to medical coding and billing procedures and documentation
