Job Summary

A information asset management company is in need of a Telecommute Hebrew-Yiddish Cataloger.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Performing original and copy cataloging of print monographs, serials, and foreign language materials
  • Searching, retrieving and/or updating bibliographic records
  • Performing both descriptive and subject cataloging

Position Requirements Include:

  • Foreign language proficiency in Hebrew/Yiddish
  • Previous original cataloging experience in Hebrew/Yiddish foreign language
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Must have experience with authority control
  • Must have experience with AACR2, RDA, RDA Toolkit, Cataloger's Desktop, Library of Congress Subject Headings (LCSH), and MARC 21 cataloging standards
