Job Summary

A higher education technology company is in need of a Telecommute Higher Education Technology General Manager.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Work and interact with higher education executives and administrators
  • Achieve local goals and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Manage multiple Chief Information Officers and IT Directors

Qualifications Include:

  • A minimum of 7-10 years successful experience as a higher education CIO or IT leader in an outsourcing environment Experience managing and developing higher education IT leaders
  • Experience with planning at strategic and operational levels
  • B.S./B.A. degree
  • Strong technology background with deep knowledge in at least one technical specialty
  • Thorough understanding of outsourcing services
  • Strong understanding of higher education business issues and processes and an understanding of academia/shared governance
