Job Summary

A staffing firm needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute HIM Medical Coding Review Manager.

Must be able to:

  • Monitor the accuracy and quality of hospital coding assignments
  • Develop reports of audit results to Regional and facility staff and Senior Management
  • Provide oversight and training for “Coding Compliance Software” to the coding staff

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • 4+ years of Acute Care: Inpatient, Outpatient, MS-DRG, HCC and APC coding
  • 4+ years supervisory experience in a Medical Records department
  • Working knowledge of State/Federal, CMRI, NCQA, JCAHO, and CMS Regulations
  • Certified coding Specialist (CCS)
