Job Summary

A home health care services company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Hospice Room Board Verification Authorization Coordinator.

Must be able to:

  • Verify patients who reside in a Nursing Home for Room & Board benefits via telephone or online systems
  • Review referral information in Homecare Homebase (HCHB) entered by the Care Center for accuracy
  • Care for patients one-on-one in home environment with flexibility in scheduling

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Minimal to no degree of travel
  • Post-secondary education or training in business or medical billing/collections
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2+) years' experience in medical office/home health benefit verification or billing
