Job Summary
Software company is filling a position for a Telecommute Industrial Processes Data Analytics Scientist in Houston.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Prototyping, specifying, and testing new algorithms to toolset
- Applying current tools and expanded tools to data problems for customers
- Consulting with customers and clients and data architecture strategies
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Travel for team link-ups several times a year for a few days as well as to customer sites for 2-day visits about once per month
- Good educational background in one or more related disciplines and may have completed pertinent graduate work
- Previous experience working as an engineer involved with analyzing time-history and process data in one of the industrial segments
- Regarded by your colleagues as one that ‘adds energy’ to everyone and every project you touch
- Exploits excellent communication skills and creative insights within multi-disciplinary team environments
- Enjoys customer interactions and solving customer problems
