Job Summary
A health insurance company is in need of a Telecommute Information Security Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Acting as one of multiple subject matter experts
- Assessing, overseeing and conducting the periodic integrated risk assessments
- Validating the controls implemented across all centers and administrative offices
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- Solid technical foundation/acumen
- Experience with HIPAA/HITECH, PCI DSS and Sarbanes-Oxley
- NIST 800-53 Security Frameworks
- Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies and methods
- Experience and/or willingness to learn security hardening of networks, systems and applications
