Job Summary
A comprehensive healthcare service provider has an open position for a Telecommute Information Technology Business Analyst.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Facilitating requirements gathering sessions with all levels of end users, including executive level staff to refine business needs
- Translating and documenting business requirements into functional requirements to maintain transparency and collaboration
- Assisting and in some cases own projects through the SDLC lifecycle, performing an internal round of user acceptance testing
Required Skills:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of Business Analyst experience in the health care industry
- Experience with Agile development methodology including User stories, Use Cases, UAT, product sprint and backlog management
- 2+ years of experience reading, writing and running basic SQL queries
- Knowledge of HL7, XML and domain expertise in Healthcare technology protocols and standards
- Experience in implementation of integrations with LAB, HIE and other third-party vendors
