Job Summary
A healthcare company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Inpatient Auditor.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Performs concurrent ICD-10-CM/PCS coding analysis of medical records to validate code assignment
- Applies Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting consistently and appropriately
- Provides written explanations to support or rebut audit recommendations
Position Requirements Include:
- 5 or more years of coding experience, with emphasis and expertise coding Inpatient acute care hospital services
- RHIA, RHIT, or CCS credential from AHIMA
- 2 Year Degree or equivalent
- Years of Experience5+ to 7 Years
- Excellent knowledge of Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting as well as AHA/AMA/CMS coding resources to support audit findings
- Aptitude in the use of computer applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
