Job Summary

A payment solutions company is in need of a Telecommute Inpatient Coder.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Creating consistency and efficiency in outpatient claims processing
• Resolving error reports associated with the billing processes, identify and report error patterns
• Reviewing clinical documentation and diagnostic results

Required Skills:

• Participates in internal and external quality review meetings
• Requires a CCS, RHIT, or RHIA
• Completion of classes in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, ICD-9 and CPT coding conventions, and disease process
• Must have high school diploma or GED
• Must have three years of continuous hospital experience in coding
