Job Summary

A healthcare data management company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Inpatient Medical Coding Consultant 3.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Reviewing medical records
• Assigning accurate codes for diagnoses and procedures
• Assigning the appropriate discharge disposition to medical records

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• A minimum of 1-5 years of coding experience in a hospital and/or coding consulting role
• Experience in computerized encoding and abstracting software
• Take and pass annual Introductory HIPAA examination and other assigned testing
